A few months before they are to welcome their first child, Rufa Mae Quinto and Fil-American fiancé Trev Magallanes tied the knot.
The Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan in Libis, Quezon City was the venue of the event, which has been nine months in the making. Trev popped the question in February 2016.
Rufa Mae’s stunning entourage was made up of her close friends from the industry: Joyce Jimenez, LJ Moreno-Alapag, Shalani Soledad, Camille Villar, and Grace Lee.
Renowned designer Pepsi Herrera created her ivory, embellished wedding dress.
Behind the stunning floral and event styling was Teddy Manuel.
Rufa Mae’s good friend Tim Yap shared this photo of the newlyweds during the reception, writing: “Even in her own wedding, (Rufa Mae) is a box office hit!”
Her fellow celebrity moms and close friends, Diana Zubiri and Ara Mina also graced Rufa Mae’s special day.
“Fairy tales can come true,” wrote the blushing bride alongside a photo of the dreamy reception setting.
One of Rufa Mae’s close friends from way back, actress Alice Dixson, shared this fun group photo of the couple with their guests.
Chesca Garcia-Kramer and Antoinette Taus, who fondly refer to each other as “Soul Sistahs” had fun catching up. The two rose to fame at the same time as teen stars back in the 90s.
OPM icon Ogie Alcasid also celebrated Rufa Mae’s special day. The two worked together on the long-running gag show, Bubble Gang.
Business consultant Ailene Co was joined by timeless beauties Alice Dixson, Aiko Melendez, and Jean Garcia.
More than being star-studded, it was a love-packed event and a fun gathering of family and friends.
“I always pray to have a family of my own. It’s my dream, and now, it’s a reality. Yes, my dreams came true. You gave your life, your surname, your love, and your fruit of love, our little one,” Rufa Mae told Trev as they exchanged heartfelt vows.
