It seems like the First Family will soon be growing even more. Presidential daughter, Sara Duterte, is reportedly expecting triplets.
“Inday Sara”, who is seven weeks along, confirmed the news herself.
According to ABS-CBN news, Sara shared the happy news within a statement explaining her absence during the Kadayawan 2016.
“On this happy note, I would also like to share with you the news that I am pregnant and cannot join you in merrymaking activities,” said Sara.”We are expecting triplets and they are doing well on their 7th week.”
She also confided through the statement that her pregnancy hasn’t been an easy one. Despite this, however, she reassured the public that she will continue to serve as Davao’s chief executive as long as she is able.

“The human body is made to carry just one baby and I am experiencing threefold all the pregnancy symptoms that a woman goes through,” lamented Sara. “I will continue to work until I am allowed by the doctors to do so, however, I have been advised to avoid crowded places to lessen the chances of acquiring infections.”
“I maybe physically weak but rest assured that I am on top of the situation here in our city,” emphasized the Davao City mayor.

Sara has two kids with husband, lawyer Manases Carpio. Their eldest Sharky is 7 years old and their youngest, Stingray, is, 3.

“The biggest challenge of being a politician is motherhood. It’s time management,” confided the Davao city mayor. “Yun yung pinakamalaki. Kaya ganito kami. Hindi ko sila maiwan. Hindi ko maiwan more than one night. Kunwari, aalis ako. One night lang, kailangan kong bumalik.”
(The biggest challenge of being a politician is motherhood. It’s time management. That’s the biggest. That’s why we are the way we are. I can’t leave them. I can’t leave them for more than one night. Whenever I leave, it can’t be more than one night. I have to come home.)
