Scarring is a typical part of the healing process after an injury. Its appearance and treatment are influenced by several factors.
Important considerations include the depth and extent of the incision or cut, as well as the location of the damage. Age, genetics, sex, and ethnicity all play a part.
Scars come in a variety of shapes and sizes, including:
1. Keloid Scars
These scars were caused by an extremely aggressive healing treatment. They aren’t just from the original injury.
2. Acne Scars
If you’ve ever had severe acne, you’ve most likely developed scars as a result. Acne scars can range from deep pits to angular or wavelike scars, and they exist in a variety of forms and sizes.
3. Hypertrophic Scars
These are raised, red scars that mimic keloids but do not spread beyond the boundaries of the injury.
4. Contracture Scars
If your skin has been burnt, you may acquire a contracture scar. These scars make it harder to move since they constrict the skin. Contracture scars can cause muscle and nerve damage.
Sebo De Macho uses
Sebo De Macho is a lightening and moisturizing ointment lotion for new scars. It is good for all types of wounds, including bruises, abrasions, contusions, grazes, and any wound in which the top layer of your skin is scraped away.
It comes in different brands but the most popular one that you might have already heard of is by Apollo.
Sebo De Macho benefits
This is an ointment cream for preventing fresh wounds from becoming scars. Bruises, abrasions, contusions, grazes, and any other wound where the top layer of your skin has been scraped away is also treated with it.
Scars are permanent. There are some that seem to be slightly erased, but it just becomes light or has a change in color. But when the scar is caused by a cut, fire, or puncture wound, the scar cannot be erased.
Is this approved by the Department of Health?
According to Dr. Rowena “Owen” Aguilar-Joven, M.D., dermatologist, dermatologists do not recommend sebo de macho for scar removal. It is only considered herbal or natural medicine, which is not harmful, but there are no therapeutic claims.
It is not on the DOH’s list of unapproved and delicate products and is also not a medicine.

Mutton’s tallow has been a sheep fat remedy for any skin condition, ever since ancient times. It is a natural product that helps soften scarred skin, and repair scar tissue.
Can I use Sebo De Macho for pimples
Although many have proven that it is effective and has been able to heal their scars, Dr. Joven adds that it should be remembered that scar removal is not as easy as just applying any ointment.
Scars vary — severe, deep, and superficial. It also depends on a person’s genetic make-up, such as those who are keloidal or prone to keloids and those with skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Sebo De Macho is great as a skin moisturizer, and can also help cure certain skin conditions such as insect bites. Mutton’s tallow contains fatty acids that help smooth the skin because it contains “naturally-occurring skin-restoring sebum”.
In other words, whether it’s Sebo de macho for face or Sebo de macho for stretch marks or any scar, it can help “erase” the scar little by little, but it does not guarantee that the scar will go away completely. It must also be used regularly and for a long time.
Sebo De Macho price

Natural remedies for scars

Of course, when all else fails, we always have natural remedies available to lessen one’s scars. You can give these natural solutions a go:
1. Baking soda and water
It is said to be effective when used every other day. Apply to the scar and rub gently.
2. Aloe vera
Use fresh aloe vera leaves, squeeze the gel and apply to the scar.
3. Lemon juice or Apple Cider vinegar
Use it as a “toner”. Try on a small area of skin first as your skin may be too sensitive to lemon juice. These two help eliminate pigmentation or discoloration. Just rub on the scar and leave for a few minutes then wash. Do this one to two times per day.
4. Coconut oil
Boil coconut oil and mix with aloe vera gel, then apply to the scar. Leave on for up to 20 minutes, then rinse.
5. Use natural moisturizers such as Bio-oil, cocoa butter, shea oil, Vitamin E oil, Coconut oil, Aloe Vera, and Rosehip Seed Oil.
6. Turmeric powder
Mix turmeric powder, milk, and honey and apply to the scar. It also helps to have ‘glowing skin’.
Use or apply regularly, to see its effectiveness. Dr. Shubaghi Perkar, MD, dermatologist, says one should avoid sun exposure. The sun can burn the skin, and it is not appropriate to use bleach or scar removers. When the skin is burned, the scar is more noticeable.
Other scar treatments
Here are scar treatments that may involve medical and surgical treatments:
1. Over-the-counter or prescription creams, ointments, or gels.
These products can be used to repair scars caused by cuts, other injuries, or wounds. Inquire about over-the-counter therapies if you’re under the care of a plastic surgeon and have scarring from cosmetic or plastic surgery.
If not, medications may be helpful. Steroids or certain oral antihistamines may be used to treat scars that itch and are particularly sensitive.
If you have scars from severe acne, you should also see a dermatologist. Your doctor may recommend or use pressure treatment or silicone gel sheeting to help cure scars or as preventative care.
2. Surgical Removal
There are several options for treating deeper scars, depending on your situation. Some of the alternatives include skin transplants, excision, dermabrasion, and laser surgery.
In a skin graft, the surgeon uses skin from another part of your body. This is a common treatment for burn sufferers.
Surgery can help if scarring is interfering with your capacity to function. If you’ve recently undergone surgery and have scars, you should wait at least a year before considering scar therapy.
3. Injection
Steroid injections can help repair protruding scars like keloids and hypertrophic scars. It may be prescribed alone or in conjunction with other therapies by your doctor.
Other injections, such as collagen or other “fillers,” may help with some types of pitted scarring, but they are rarely permanent.
When to call the doctor
If the appearance of a scar concerns you, talk to your doctor about scar reduction techniques. Consult your doctor if the scar becomes painful, irritating, itchy, or infected or if you notice a mole, freckle, or growth on or near the scar. This could be a sign of skin cancer that spreads through scar tissue.
