Dingdong Dantes to Marian Rivera: “I’m proud of you.”
Way back when Marian was only pregnant with their now year old baby Zia, Dingdong posted a heartfelt tribute to his expectant wife, Marian Rivera. “I wish to salute you everyday for gracefully carrying our gift. A clear preamble of how you’ll be when that day comes. From today, and all succeeding years hereafter, you will be recognized for this new remarkable designation. I’m proud of you. Happy Mother’s Day! #MyBabies”
A year later, he guested on his wife’s show Yan Ang Morning! and shared another heartwarming message: “First of all, congratulations to you, for Yan ang Morning!. Now, I can officially say Happy Mother’s Day. It’s because when I first greeted you the baby was still in your womb. But now, you are officially a mother. Congratulations for being an excellent mother, I salute you big time. I just hope Zia could watch this someday. We love you.”
Ryan Agoncillo to Judy Ann Santos: “Congratulations for being a wonderful mom.”
During an appearance on Judy Ann’s game show, Bet On Your Baby, a few days after mother’s day, the dad of three gushed about how his better half is the best mom.
“Paano nga ba na mom si Juday? Well, let me put it this way, every time I stare at our kids, I get to realize how awesome a mother Judy Ann is,” he said. “Just a five-minute sit down with my kids — pinapanuod ko lang sila, pinakikinggan at tinitingan ko lang kung gaano sila kasaya, kalusog, at mabubuting bata — just reflects on how awesome their mother is. So sweetheart, congratulations for being a wonderful mom.”
Drew Arellano to Iya Villania: “Every day is Mother’s Day”
He may have said this three months early, but that doesn’t make his heartfelt message any less sweet.
“Iya, being a first-time mother, she’s doing a phenomenal job,” he gushed in an interview with PEP. “She’s working, she wakes up four times in the middle of the night without waking me up in bed just to pacify Primo, feed Primo. It’s just a phenomenal job. Every day I think is Mother’s Day.”
Chito Miranda on Neri Naig: “Sobrang proud talaga ako sa asawa ko.”
Actress/entrepreneur Neri Naig suffered a miscarriage prior to welcoming her first baby with rock singer Chito Miranda.
“Sobrang proud talaga ako sa asawa ko. Alam nyo kasi, takot na takot si Neri sa karayom,” he wrote in a post he shared after Neri gave birth to their first baby, Miguel Alfonso. “Kaya kung alam nyo lang kung gaano kahirap yung pinagdaanan nya sa pagbubuntis at panganganak, at kung paano nya buong tapang na tiniis at hinarap, mabibilib din talaga kayo.”
John Prats to Isabel Oli: “Hindi madali maging ina.”
The new parents welcomed their first baby, Feather, in April 2016. A month later, John shared an aww-worthy tribute to his wife Isabel.
“Happy Mothers Day sa aking asawa @isabeloliprats . We (love) you ni @featherprats lagi kami nandito para sa iyo mommy,” he wrote on Instagram. “#HappyMothersDay din po sa lahat ng Nanay sa mundo. Hindi madali maging ina. Idol ko kayong lahat.”
