Veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez seems to have instilled the value of hard work in her two kids, Arjo and Ria, who are now thriving in their showbiz careers, appearing in two of ABS-CBN’s popular teleseryes just like their mom, who recently starred in the high-rating soap, The Greatest Love.
Their schedules recently coincided and the happy mom took to Instagram to express how grateful she is that a simple errand gave them the chance to spend the day together.
“Ang saya-saya ko, kahit konting oras lang kami magkakasama, thank you passport at ikaw ang dahilan, hahaha,” she wrote on Instagram. “Good vibes lang with my kiddos.”
“Wag muna kayo mag-asawa, mga 10 years pa at gusto ko pa kayo masolo. Seryoso ako! Ayoko pa talaga hahaha di pa ako ready…”

Her eldest son is now 26 while her “potpot” Ria is 24. Has she ever thought about the time when they will settle down with their respective partners and start a family of their own?
“Wag muna kayo mag-asawa, mga 10 years pa at gusto ko pa kayo masolo. Seryoso ako! Ayoko pa talaga hahaha di pa ako ready,” the doting mom wrote on Instagram. “Love you both so much.”
“It melts my heart to see my kids love and protect each other like this even though they’re adults now,” she wrote in another post, which she shared a few days after Valentine’s day. “Oh GOD thank you so much for this wonderful, wonderful gift, my loving children. My heart overflows with love and emotion whenever I see them express their love for one another. Times like these make me feel like Art [her husband] and I did well.”
Though Sylvia wasn’t able to spend Heart’s day with her beloved kids, she shared how her sweet daughter still managed to make her feel special.

“Pagkauwi ko kagabi, heto ang dinatnan ko sa side table ko,” she wrote alongside a photo of her holding a lovely boquet. “Ang saya-saya ko. My potpot, lagi mo akong sinusurpresa, alam mo talaga kung paano ako mapasaya, tanggal pagod ko kagabi dahil sa munti mong regalo na ‘to anak. Maraming maraming salamat.”
Sylvia and Arturo Atayde tied the knot in March 2003.
