Though she may have just broken up with boyfriend Calvin Harris, Taylor Swift is still a big believer in romance.
The country singer-turned-pop star gave two newlyweds the surprise of their lives when she showed up at their wedding!
She delighted Max Singer and Kenya Smith’s wedding reception with a special stripped down performance of her massive hit, ‘Blank Space’.
Taylor played the piano as the couple took the dance floor.
One of their relatives managed to capture a brief clip of the amazing performance and shared it on twitter.
“So, Taylor Swift showed up to my cousins wedding… #surprised,” tweeted Gage Simmons.
But one person at the wedding wasn’t surprised—Max’s sister, Ali.
PEOPLE reports that Ali was the mastermind behind it all. How did she make it happen?
She wrote a heartfelt letter to Taylor recounting how the lost their mom. She also told her that Max and Kenya had already tied the knot in the hospital so Max and Ali’s ailing mom could witness their special day.
Prior to passing away, their mom had shared a special mother-son dance with Max to the tune of Taylor Swift’s ‘Blank Space’.
