So, ayun na nga. Actually, June pa dapat ang review na to kaso sobrang comfortable ng Emma Original Mattress kaya tuwing tine-test ko, ang ending ay nakakatulog na ko tapos nakalipas na pala ang isang araw. Tapos the next day, umpisahan ko ulit i-test tapos makakatulog ulit ako. It’s like a cycle of perfect sleep and comfort.

After so many challenging weeks, I have finally done it. It was not easy, testing one of the comfiest mattresses in the world, but I did it for you. So heto na, ang top 5 things na masarap gawin sa Emma Original (bukod sa matulog).
#1 Watch a K-Pop Concert
Or literally anything you want. I just like watching Twice concerts. That’s normal, right? That isn’t creepy uncle behavior. Gusto ko ang music nila. Bakit ba?! But I digress, after watching for hours on end ng kung ano-ano, ang napansin ko is never nangalay ang body ko.
I could probably watch the first 2 seasons ng Kingdom pati He’s Into Her and hindi mapapansin ng katawan ko. It really felt na nag-conform yung mattress sa body shape and weight ko. Mas nauna pang napagod ang eyeballs ko buti na lang nasa bed na ako so diretso sleep. (NOTE to HR: ginawa ko po ito after office hours.)
#2 Play With Your Phone
Lalo na kung theAsianparent app ang ine-explore mo! Ang sarap kaya magbasa and sumagot ng questions from theAsianparent community kapag masarap ang higa mo. I literally lost track of time a couple of times dahil sa pagkakahiga ko sa Emma Original. Ang lambot kasi eh. So ayun, sumasagot ako about mga signs of labor and stuff, basa ng articles, tapos boom! Gabi na pala!
#3 Have Breakfast in Bed in the Afternoon
Who doesn’t love eating breakfast in bed? Yan ang go-to move ko kapag may nagawa akong kasalanan sa boss ng tahanan. And kahit hapon, kahit gabi, it’s still a fun activity to do. But! Because we have a super active kid at home, may tendency na magkaroon ng spills, which nangyari nga during the testing period.
Good thing removable ang cover ng Emma Original so hindi kailangan magtiis sa stained mattress which is kadiri. Alam mo yan, ang gross ng mga mattress natin lalo na pag may kids na sa bahay. Bad thing lang kasi ako ang naglaba dahil idea ko daw ang breakfast in bed.
#4 Contemplate on The Mystery of Life and Existence
Hindi ko alam kung anong magic ang ginawa ng Emma Original Mattress pero kahit anong soul-searching ang gawin ko sa edge ng bed, hindi pa rin ako nagugulo kahit talon nang talon ang anak ko sa likod. I don’t know if they have multiple magical layers or something but ang masasabi ko lang, I found the meaning of life one day while drinking coffee in bed. Interested? DM is the key.
#5 Bond With Your Child
Thank you, work-from-home-setup. As a dad, it’s my duty to bond and play with my kid. Non-negotiable yan. If tatay ka and never mo pang na-chokeslam ang anak mo sa kama, you have failed. I repeat, YOU HAVE FAILED. Joke lang.
Probably my favourite part during this Emma Original review is when we unboxed it and set it up in our bedroom. When he saw the mattress and the Flip Topper expanding, I could see my kid’s eyes light up. From the start, Huxley started jumping on the Emma Original Mattress and he just bounced around all day. Doon pa lang, bawing bawi na.
We played more times after that and he just never got tired of our new Emma Original Mattress bed. Well, it is really comfortable. Ang downside lang talaga is ang hirap bumangon sa umaga. You’ll never want to get up. Sorry, HR. Walang personalan, trabaho lang po.
