According to Us Weekly, Tom Cruise has had no contact with his 10-year-old daughter Suri (with ex-wife Katie Holmes) for three years. The last time Cruise, 54, and Suri were photographed in public was in August 2012 in Florida.

Cruise and Holmes, 37, had a whirlwind romance. They began dating in 2005 and were engaged in the same year. In April 2006, they welcomed Suri, and got married in an extravagant wedding ceremony in Bracciano, Italy, in November 18, 2006.

Holmes filed for divorce in June 2012—only six years into their marriage. Neither of the two have spoken up much about the reasons behind the split, but plenty have speculated that ideological difference led the marriage to implode.
Cruise is a devout Scientologist, and some insiders have said that Holmes wanted to keep Suri away from Scientology.

Cruise has two older adopted children from his previous marriage with Nicole Kidman: Connor, 21, and Bella, 23. While Suri ended up with his ex-wife after his divorce with Holmes; Connor and Bella chose to stay with him after his divorce with Kidman. Connor and Bella have been reported to have had a strained relationship with Kidman, but seem to have patched things up.

“I don’t care what people say,” said Connor to the Australian magazine Women’s Day in 2014. “I know that me and mum are solid. I love her a lot. My family means everything.”

Neither Cruise nor Kidman were in attendance in Bella’s wedding earlier this year. Contrary to what many believe, Bella insists that they are not estranged. ”Of course [we talk], they’re my parents,” she told New Idea, before adding that anyone who says otherwise is “full of s***”.
