Trick or treat 2018: Halloween events and activities in Metro Manila malls

Halloween is just around the corner. Are your kids ready to dress up and fill their buckets with lots of candies and chocolates? Over the years, trick or treat in Manila has become hugely popular. Not only do kids get to knock on their neighbors’ doors to get treats, they can also participate in fun activities and events in popular Metro Manila malls.

Check out this year’s list of Halloween activities for kiddos!

Trick or Treat in Manila

Ortigas Malls: Estancia, Greenhills, Tiendesitas

Get some advance Halloween fun for the whole family with The Great Halloween Show, which kicks off for afternoon shows on October 28, offering a spectacle of magic shows, acrobat exhibitions, and musical performers.

An exciting costume contest for kids will also be happening on October 28 from 5:00 – 6:00 PM. To register, customers must present a minimum single or accumulated receipt worth P3,000 from all Ortigas Malls from October 25 – 28 to get one entry pass. Shop and enter your kids to get fun prizes from partner retailers for the spooky season!

Eastwood Mall, Quezon City

Location: Eastwood Mall Open Park at Eastwood City, Libis, QC

Thrill-seeking tykes can have a spellbinding Halloween Trick or Treat Celebration on October 28 at Eastwood City’s Petrified, an annual kids and pets affair. Kids can come out in their magical Potter-themed costume and enjoy fun activities as Eastwood City turns into a sorcerer’s realm. There’s also not one, but two, Halloween costume contests that kids and their furry companions can join – the Magical Robes: Kids Costume Contest and the Stupetfy: Pets Costume Contest. Those who came fully dressed up in their wizarding character gets a chance to win wicked prizes.

Other activities include magic show, pet talks, and trick or treat, wherein both kids and pets get to haul the Halloween goodies. To join, participating kids should present a P500 single purchase receipt from any Eastwood City retail partners from Oct 26-28 to qualify for a Trick or Treat Map, while participating pets are required to present a valid pet pass. Magic begins at 2 p.m.

Forbes Town, Taguig

Location: Forbes Town, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig

Step into the most enchanting Halloween at Forbes Town’s Wicked Woods on October 27. Adventure-hungry kids can get to explore the magical forest filled with surprising encounters such as Treasure Hunt, Enchanted Obstacle Course, VR Experience, and Mystery Box Challenge. Kids also get to pick their sweet poison by joining the DIY whimsical activities including designing their own Halloween treats at the dessert decorating class, and more.

Kids can dress up in whimsical costumes and join the Mesmerizing Costume Contest and the Trick or Treat Parade Activity for a chance to take exciting treats. To join, parents can present P1,000 purchase receipt from any Forbes Town establishments. Registration starts October 20.

Uptown Bonifacio, Taguig

Location: Uptown Mall at Uptown Bonifacio, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig

Play, party and mingle with the cutest little monsters and magical creatures on October 28 at Boo! Halloween Kids Party at Uptown Bonifacio. Kids can unleash their inner monsters and play at the Atrium for a fun-filled day of monsterrific activities such as Monster Coloring Wall, Cotton Candy Glob, Leprechaun Gold Hunt, Unicorn Glam Station, and more.

Kids can also crash the party and be their own cutesy, magical or mythical monster by joining the My Little Monster Costume Contest for a chance to win awesome prizes. To liven the monster party, a surprise Enchanted Musical performance is in store for everyone to jam with.

The party ends with the Craveyard Trick or Treat, wherein kids get to haul candy treats at selected Uptown Mall stores. To join, simply present single or accumulated purchase receipt worth P1,000 beginning October 15 from any Uptown Bonifacio establishments.

Venice Grand Canal, Taguig

Location: Venice Grand Canal at McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig

Escape to a magical world filled with fantastic beasts only at Venice Grand Canal, featuring the newest movie from Warner Brothers, “Fantastic Beasts and the Crimes of Grindelwald.” Kids and movie fans alike can marvel at the fantastic installations and activities and join the mystical party on October 28 with the Wizard’s Ball Costume Contest and dress up in a bewitching wizarding wardrobe. Other exciting activities include Circus Arcanus Photo Booth, Arts and Crafts Alley, Trick or Treat Express, Spells and Stories with Fully Booked.  Immerse in these remarkable activities by purchasing one (1) Fantastic Beast cinema ticket. Registration starts October 20.

Lucky Chinatown, Manila

Location: Lucky Chinatown Atrium at Lucky Chinatown, Binondo Manila

Celebrate with your favorite animal characters such as Enchantimals, Hatchimals, and Megabloks and play with fun over exciting activities such as matching game, DIY face mask, builder challenge, and roving animal rides beginning October 22 until November 3. Then on October 28 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., kids take part in the cutest activities such as The Candy Hunt, Meet and Greet with Cody of Vtech and Hatchimals, and capping off the wildest animal gathering would be the ExZOOtic Kiddie Paw-ty Costume Contest, wherein kids are encouraged to put on their favorite animal costume. To join the activities, purchase P500 single receipt from the merchandise selling at the Atrium.
