After 3 years, a family unites with adopted children

After 3 years, a family unites with adopted children

Three and half long years of waiting later, the Grovers and their Congolese sons finally unite

Back in 2012, James and Jennifer Grover began the long and duteous process of adopting two boys (Joseph and Bronson) from Congo. While they were excited and ready to welcome the two boys to their family as soon as possible, things didn’t go as planned.

Things took a turn for the worse when the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) tightened up their policies involving international adoptions in 2013. In addition to the new policies, the struggle of international countries being involved only exacerbated the situation. In short, the Grovers were unable to welcome home their newly adopted children.

Finally, over three years later the Grovers were united with young Joseph and Bronson, and the video capturing the family’s union is absolutely breathtaking.

Here are some of the powerful images from the viral video:

1

Bronson,7, and Joseph, 14, run through the airport gates to embrace their new parents.

After three and a half long years, a father and mother finally experience the joy of holding their children for the first time.

The video is truly beautiful and is a must-see! You can watch the touching viral video below:
