Proving they truly are their mother’s daughters, the adorable Shiloh and Zahara Pitt lent a helping hand to underprivileged kids in Cambodia.
Having a heart for charity truly runs in the family.
New York Daily News reports that Angelina Jolie-Pitt and Brad Pitt’s daughters took time to help an impoverished Cambodian family.
The couple has 13 kids and they all live in a small tin shack.
Zahara, 10 and Shiloh, 9 are currently in South East Asia as their mom films “First They Killed My Father”.
They were reportedly approached by a 16-year-old girl named Leida Shoun while they were out getting ice cream.
Shoun lived with her 12 siblings in a tin shack in a slum district in Siem Reap.
About one-third of the population lives on $2 a day, making Cambodia one of the poorest countries in South East Asia.
Shiloh and Zahara gave the family $200 worth of new clothes, which is amazingly generous especially in Cambodia where T-shirts cost less than 1 dollar.
They also bought the family two new bikes, which are a common mode of transportation in the country.
Their mom Angelina Jolie’s humanitarian efforts has helped refugees, displaced people from war-torn countries and impoverished children around the world as a Special Envoy of the United Nations.
She and husband Brad Pitt also set up a $20 million foundation in 2006 which helps clinics and schools in Ethiopia, Kenya, Cambodia, and Afghanistan.
“When she was sitting on the floor with her UN cap writing her notes as she was talking to someone, I was flashing on myself 15 years ago and thinking, I know that moment,” Angelina told Vogue last year.
