According to sheriff Paul Babeu, at first the couple said that they had left their son sleeping so they could go out and buy some gas.

Ever since its launch, Pokemon Go has not stopped making a buzz. Although the game does have its benefits, its disadvantages and bad press outweigh much of them.

Among many things, the video game has been blamed for countless accidents, robberies, theft, and crimes that are pedophiliac in nature.

Because the game is so addictive, people are becoming so immersed in the game that they forgot to pay attention to their surroundings. This may sound silly to some, but it does happen.

In fact, in Arizona, a couple has recently been charged with child endangerment and child neglect after leaving their two-year-old son alone at home while they set off to catch Pokemons outside.

According to Fox News, the toddler was only in a diaper and T-shirt when it wandered out of their San Tan Valley home and into the scorching 35-degree heat.

A neighbor had seen the child outside and called 911, said the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office report. The officers found the boy crying as he attempted to get back inside the house.

The toddler was also barefoot, red faced, sweaty, and dirty by the time he was found.

Police found the house unlocked. Inside, there were the family’s three dogs, but no sign of the parents—27-year-old Brent and 25-year-old Brianne Daley.

“After locating Brent Daley’s phone number, deputies called him to say they had found the boy abandoned outside the house,” the Fox News reported, “to which Daley allegedly replied, ‘Whatever,’ before hanging up.”

It took the couple almost an hour to return home after they had been called.

According to sheriff Paul Babeu, at first the couple said that they had left their son sleeping so they could go out and buy some gas.

However, they later admitted that they had driven to parks and other places so they could hunt for Pokemons.

After they were charged and booked into the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office jail, their son has been given to the care of the Department of Child Services.
