1. First off, he named his firstborn son after his own dad! How cute is that?
Drew and Iya decided to name Primo, whose full name is Antonio Primo Arellano, after his paternal grandpa, who sadly passed away in 2014.
2. It’s no secret that he has a great sense of humor
From his wacky IG stories to funny photos with his little one, Drew knows how to put the “fun” in parenting despite the many challenges of being a working dad. We just can’t get enough of the fun-loving couple and their good-natured little one who, as Drew shared recently, kept smiling even when he had a bad cold!

3. He babywears like a pro!
The athletic dad also brings his active lifestyle to his parenting style! While they were vacationing in Australia, Drew shared a cute video of him playing in a park’s monkey bars while Primo was strapped to him in a carrier.

4. He openly admits being a working dad isn’t easy
In an interview with PEP, he recounts how having to travel for work—he currently hosts a travel show called Biyahe ni Drew–has proved to be a challenge, especially because he has to be away from his wife Iya and baby Primo.
“It’s hard for me to do my travel show weekly, you know. When I wake up somewhere and I’m not with these two, parang it’s not normal. Whenever I get back from my travels, when I open the door na, tine-testing ko kung kilala na niya ako,” he said, adding how episodes abroad would take about a week to shoot. “Yung first few months, parang gaganyan ako, ‘Hello!’ Titingin lang siya for a few seconds na parang, ‘Who is this guy?’ And I’m like hurt! Super!”

5. He constantly heaps praise upon his “phenomenal” wife
The loving hubby often makes it a point to show his appreciation for his devoted wife, who’s truly embraced motherhood with ease.
“Iya, being a first-time mother, she’s doing a phenomenal job,” said Drew in an interview, commending Iya for being a hands-on breastfeeding mom. “She’s working, she wakes up four times in the middle of the night without waking me up in bed just to pacify Primo, feed Primo. It’s just a phenomenal job. Every day I think is Mother’s Day.”
