Following speculation that she will soon be separating from her husband of three years, Will Kopelman, Drew Barrymore confirmed the split.
The 41-year-old actress told E! News that their daughters Olive, 3 and Frankie, 2, will remain their top priority.
“Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family,” the said in a joint statement they sent to People. “Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority.”
According to E! News, they are currently “living separately” and that “over the past few months, things seem to be up and down with the couple.”
A day before news of their split came out, Drew posted on Instagram that she had gotten a tattoo of Olive and Frankie’s names on her arm.

In her post, she seemed to be doing well. She was also spotted shopping alone in Beverly Hills.
Her instagram is filled with pictures of her daughters while her husband has been noticeably absent from her posts for months.
Her last photo of them together was posted back in June 2015, during their anniversary.
Drew was previously married to Jeremy Thomas in 1995 (for less than a year) and Tom Green in 2001. They split a little over a year later, in October 2002.
