Isabel Granada's husband remembers late wife: "I survived cancer because of you"

Arnel Cowley showed love to his devoted wife Isabel, who was there for him through his battle with cancer. Read his heartfelt tribute, here.

Isabel Granada’s husband Arnel Cowley took to social media to pay tribute to the late actress, saying she was has helped him battle cancer.

It turns out that Arnel has battled the ill but “managed to survive” because his loving wife never left his side.

In an Instagram post, the 44-year-old entrepreneur wrote: “You were there for me when I was suffering from cancer. You still loved me even though I lost my hair during chemotherapy. Because of you and your love, I managed to survive.”

“It’s painful for me that you are now gone and how I really do wish that it should have been me. I love you, baby!” he added.

The two just marked their second anniversary days before Isabel fell into a coma due to a ruptured aneurysm.

“Because of you and your love I managed to survive.”

In another post, where he shared a series of photos of the two of them, he wrote: “Putting on a brave face is the hardest thing to do. Every day I cry longing for you.”

Isabel began acting in 1986, when she was just 11 years old. Though she still remained in the public eye, she also later ventured into business with her husband. The actress was a guest speaker at the Philippine Trade Tourism in Doha when she collapsed and fell into a coma and passed away. She was 41. Isabel is also survived by a 14-year-old son with former husband, Jericho Aguas.
