Basketball star James Yap’s just welcomed a son with Italian girlfriend, Michela Cazzola.
James confirmed the news to theAsianparent today, August 8, 2016. He recounts how ecstatic he was, unable to fight back the tears, while he was in the delivery room at St. Luke’s Global City during the birth. The baby boy, who they named Michael James, was born at 6:55 pm, weighing 6.5 lbs.
James and Michela have been looking forward to becoming parents. Just three weeks ago, James posted this photo on his instagram account with the caption: “Malapit na.”

We can’t wait to see who the little one will look like! (As of now, James says he looks like Michela’s dad.)
