It seems as though things aren’t alright between Jenine Desiderio and her daughter, singer-actress Janella Salvador.
Jenine Desiderio Twitter war with Janella’s fans
When Janella was still 19-year-old and still living under Jenine Desiderio’s roof, Jenine seems to have thought Twitter was the best venue to air out some issues she had with her daughter.

“Napakahirap bang magpaalam? Two simple, basic rules hindi masunod. Kase ayaw sumunod. #nuknukanngtigasngulo #angtigasngloob,” wrote Jenine, prompting her daughter’s fans to react, dropping their own opinions on how to be a “better mother.”
Naturally, Jenine replied, saying that they don’t know the whole story or what she’s going through. One netizen bashed Jenine for calling her daughter out in public, saying that social media may not be the right place to settle whatever grievances she has as a mom.
Then, a lengthy back and forth between Jenine and her daughter’s fans ensued. Fans criticized her for being too strict on her daughter and that it’s the reason why her daughter is rebelling.
“Being protective is instinctive with any mother. But if all your good intentions and protective efforts are prevented…Fed up. You’re on your own,” she responded, emphasizing how she wouldn’t resort to Twitter if she wasn’t nearing the end of her rope.

As of this writing, Janella Salvador has yet to respond to her mom’s twitter tirade.
This isn’t the first time Jenine took to social media to vent her frustrations. Back in February 2017, she posted a series of tweets pertaining to an unnamed guy who’s being involved with her daughter. It makes sense that Janella’s fans assumed it was actor Elmo Magalona, with whom Janella’s had numerous projects with.
“I am this close to revealing who you are. Straighten up (and) clean up your act or it’s the end of you,” threatened Jenine in her tweet.

“I want no less than a gentleman for my daughter. Not one who looks & pretends to be decent but sneaks behind my back.”
We hope Jenine sorts things out with her daughter, Janella. Whose promising career in the entertainment industry would make any mom proud. We’re certain moms can relate to being frustrated by a teen daughter’s behavior, but at the end of the day, a mom only wants what’s best for her daughter, even if she has to call her out every now and then.
