WATCH: The latest Jollibee ad pays tribute to a different kind of love story

The latest ad in the #KwentongJollibeeValentineSeries celebrates a different kind of love story. Watch it, below!

The latest Jollibee ad takes a different type of love story and puts it in the spotlight.

“Ang pagmamahal para sa pamilya ay nananatiling buhay sa ating mga puso,” read the video’s caption on Jollibee’s official Facebook page.

The heartwarming ad, which earned 2,000,000 views in the first two hours since it was posted, is the third installment of touching ads released by the fast food giant just in time for Valentine’s day.

Entitled “Date”, the clip features a sweet kid preparing a Valentine’s day dinner. A man’s voice narrates every detail as if guiding the boy through every step. As he welcomes his mom with a smile, he sets a smartphone down on the table in front of her and plays a video.

Through the video, it is revealed that his father passed away due to an illness recently.

As it dawns on the mother that it was her late husband who arranged it all before he died, she starts to cry.

Watch the ad, which is based on a true story just like the other ads in the series, below.
