“Tama na. Sobra na,” this was Kris Aquino’s message to Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Margaux “Mocha” Uson.
This was in response to how the latter defended the President’s controversial kiss with an OFW . In a video clip shared by Uson on Facebook, the late Sen. Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino is being kissed by two women aboard a plane back in 1983, shortly before he was assassinated.
Uson was trying to make a point that Duterte should not have been criticized for asking to kiss a married woman on the lips, because the late Senator was also kissed by two women.
The viral video soon gained the attention of Aquino, who called out Uson for disrespecting her father’s legacy and in turn, their entire family.
Kris Aquino Defends Parents, Challenges Mocha Uson: “Nangako akong hindi kita papatulan – but this time you crossed the line.”
“Binalahura mo na ang buong pagkatao ng pamilya namin,” she wrote, adding how her brother former President Noynoy Aquino was not in the vide because he could defend himself. She also wrote that she had never done anything against Duterte.
“Alam mo ba kung ano ang ginawa mo? Sinariwa mo ang sugat sa puso ng isang batang 12 years old nung pinaslang ng walang kalaban laban ang kanyang ama,” she wrote, adding how she couldn’t stop crying seeing her dad in the video.
“Umiyak ako ng tuloy tuloy dahil nainggit ako sa 2 babaeng nakahalik sa Dad ko bago sya pinatay. Isang regalong hindi binigay sa nanay ko na walang tigil mo ring binabastos,” she said of her late mom, former president Corazon Aquino.
“Kaya ngayon hihiramin ko ang salita nya: Tama na. Sobra na… Kung may gusto kang punching bag, please ako na lang. Kasi buhay ako, kaya kitang sagutin. At hindi kita uurungan,” Kris said in closing.
In the post, she also stressed how she owned up to all of her shortcomings.
“Inako ko lahat ng mali ko at dahil nga minahal ako ng nanay ko at gusto kong maging mabuting ina,” wrote Kris, “sinisikap kong ayusin ang buhay ko.”
“Mom ko yoon, dad ko yoon, at winawalang-hiya na masyado ang alala nila.”
In a follow-up post, Aquino took time to thank those who have sent messages of support.
“Mom ko yoon, dad ko yoon, at winawalang-hiya na masyado ang alaala nila,” she said on Facebook live.
She simply was reacting as a daughter and that it really made her cry to see the video. Nearly in tears, she went on to share how her late mom always told her not to show how much others hurt you.
As of this writing, Uson has not responded to Kris’ posts.
