How the Lucas family’s unwavering faith got them through the toughest of times truly served as an inspiration to many. When they lost their first daughter Caitlin Soleil Lucas, fondly known as Courageous Caitie, the country mourned her loss. No one will forget how the 3-year-old demonstrated bravery beyond her years even until she succumbed to the rare disease, juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML) in March 2016.

On November 2016, the Lucas family took to Facebook to share the happy news that they were expecting another baby: a baby sis for their son, Ethan.
Though she was due to give birth on March 5, their baby girl came three weeks early giving the Lucas family the perfect Valentine’s gift!

“So surreal still… We lost caitie around 11:25am… held her in our arms…and now our baby daughter came into this world at 11:25am on the day the world know its all about love today,” marveled dad Jayjay on Facebook. “What are the chances.. thank you Lord. Wifey and baby recovering fine. Pics soon!”
