PHILIPPINES, NOVEMBER 2022 - Love, Bonito, Southeast Asia’s largest omnichannel womenswear brand, has kicked off its Love, Bonito on Wheels pop-up series at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium today. This follows the brand’s unveiling of its new tagline Come Into Your Own, which sees it embark on a journey to empower more women to find strength through adversity, and to achieve and realize their fullest potential. Serving as the first run of the pop-up series’ 7-weekend activation, it was also the platform for the official reveal of the brand’s first-ever Philippine ambassador, actress and mom Coleen Garcia.
Making history as the brand’s first physical experience in the Philippines since it started shipping to the country in 2019, the pop-up series allows both long-time fans of the brand as well as first-time shoppers to try on pieces from Love, Bonito’s new and best-selling collections before making their purchases online. Love, Bonito on Wheels also serves as an opportunity for new and existing customers to learn more about the brand’s different facets and efforts—such as the LBCommunity+ membership program—as they explore the space.
Actress and model Coleen Garcia is Love, Bonito’s first Filipino ambassador.
Coleen Garcia graced the launch event and shared her own story of how she has come into her own as a creative, a mother, and a woman, “To come into your own is progress. It’s something that we continue to go through in our lives. If you feel like you lost yourself, just remember that you can always start again. I hope that you are all on a journey of self discovery like I am because it is something that will always bring you fulfillment. It takes a lot of inner work, but when you do come into your own, you discover that everything in life can be so beautiful when you allow things to fall into place and you don’t allow other people to your dream.”
Love, Bonito on Wheels is now open to the public and showcases the womenswear brand’s best-selling pieces, as well as its latest collections including The Staples, LYLAS: Bridesmaid, and the much-awaited Festive range in December. Alongside this is a partnership with specialty coffee brand Single Origins, making Love, Bonito on Wheels a unique lifestyle experience.
