It looks like criminal cases are piling up for the man who was caught on tape berating a female passenger while in an FX bound for Almar Subdivision in Caloocan City.
The man, who has since been identified as John Michael Musni Arellano, now faces the wrath of his common law wife’s family as they prepare to file a legal case against him for allegedly beating up his live-in partner.

“Wala na kaming ibang hiling kung hindi sumuko siya at makulong dahil pati auntie ko sinasaktan niya pala,” said Anais Manait, niece of Emely Manait. Emely, 36, years old, is the live-in partner of Arellano.
In a message to theAsianparent, Manait revealed that she found out about the beatings only after news of Arellano’s outburst in the FX went viral. The news prompted Manait’s mother to forward messages from Emely narrating one of Arellano’s beatings. The messages were dated September 20, 2015.

Manait first met Arellano after the latter returned from Riyadh. In 2014, Manait was then living in the family home in North Olympus when Arellano started visiting her aunt. In a matter of months, the two were living in.
“I did not notice anything strange at that time. I lived with them for only two to three months. It’s only now that I found out about the beatings. My mother kept it a secret from me because she did not want me to worry,” Manait said in the vernacular.
“I want to sue him,” she also said in the vernacular.
She also revealed that Arellano is still in hiding, and the family has not been able to contact Emely since Arellano’s recorded outburst in the FX went viral.
“Nag-aalala kami…no contact at all…pati sa Facebook never na rin siya nag-o-online,” Manait said, adding that Emely’s cell phone can no longer be reached.
(“We are worried. We have no contact at all. She doesn’t even go online on Facebook anymore.”)
Manait’s claim is corroborated by Arellanos’ Facebook posts mocking his “haters”, including the police, to find him first.
The Facebook posts reveal a troubling mind as Arellano shows no signs of remorse, and instead seems to relish the idea that he is now notoriously famous.
According to a report by Jessica Bartolome on GMA News, a neighbour of Arellano said, “Lagi po sila nagaaway, silang mag asawa. Tapos kapag minsan naman, mayabang siya kapag lalabas. Tinitignan lang namin nag aangas-angas na.”
(“They [Arellano and Emely] are always fighting. Sometimes, when he comes out, he is very arrogant. We only have to look at him for him to act arrogantly.”)

According to a report by GMA News, police are now hunting Arellano down.
Arellano was caught on tape verbally abusing a fellow passenger on Tuesday. According to witnesses, Arellano’s outburst was over the fact that the young lady failed to move from the seat next to the sliding door when Arellano and his wife were getting into the vehicle.
Arellano then went on a tirade filled with foul language and threats of harm—a threat which, according to witnesses and to a statement from the victim, Arellano fulfilled when he punched the victim on the arm twice after alighting from the vehicle.
Arellano will be charged with physical injury, oral defamation, and unjust vexation.
“Hindi po ako magpapaareglo kasi po ayoko pong mangyari yun sa iba,” she said. “Saka po yung trauma na binigay niya… Para pong hirap ka na sumakay sa sasakyan, parang ayaw mo na umalis ng bahay, kasi takot ka na sa mga tao,” the victim was quoted in an article on ABS-CBN.
(“I am not going to settle because I don’t want the same thing to happen to others. And the trauma that he gave me now makes me scared of riding vehicles. It’s like I don’t want to leave the house because I am now scared of people.”)
“Nagsabi po siya na tama na dun sa asawa niya pero siguro once lang po… Parang hindi rin po niya mapakalma kasi parang galit na galit po siya. Pagsakay pa lang po niya, galit na siya,” the victim narrated how even Emely could not calm Arellano.
(“She told him that that was enough maybe once. She couldn’t calm him down because he was so angry. As soon as he got into the vehicle, he was already angry.”)
