March babies are more likely to become CEOs according to research. Wondering why and how? Here are 10 facts about them that explains who they are and how successful they can be.

1. Babies born in March can either be a Pisces or an Aries.

Babies born in March can either be Pisces (March 1- 20) or Aries (March 21- end of the month). Any of which, people born in March are born with a success-driven character. Pisces are known to be optimistic and determined, while Aries are known to be competitive and passionate.

2. They have two birthstones, aquamarine and bloodstone.

According to the American Gem Society, there are 2 birthstones that are associated with babies born in March. The aquamarine and bloodstone. The serene blue color of aquamarine symbolizes tranquility, while the dark green color of bloodstone with flecks of red iron oxide symbolizes health and strength.

3. March birth flower is daffodil.

According to Flowermeaning, the daffodil flower symbolizes rebirth and new beginnings. In the US, it is the first flower to bloom after winter frost, while in China, it symbolizes good fortune. In fact, it is one of the official symbols used during Chinese New Year celebrations.

Daffodil also means mirth and joyousness for Japanese people and it is a sign of hope for the people in France.

4. Babies born in March are more likely to become pilots.

Based on research made by the UK’s Office of National Statistics, there is a great chance that babies born in March are more likely to become pilots. This is according to the result of their analysis of the birth months of people in 19 separate occupations.

5. March babies are more likely to become CEOs too.

According to another study featured in Science Direct, babies born in March are more likely to become CEOs. This was supported by the fact that in 375 companies, 12.5% of the CEOs were born in March. It was followed by April in which 10.6% of the CEOs were born this month.

6. They are more likely to become famous as well.

It is because there are a lot of famous celebrities and people that were born in March. Examples are Justin Bieber (March 1), Albert Einstein (March 14) and Mariah Carey (March 27). Famous Filipino celebrities born in March are Vice Ganda (March 31), Kathryn Bernardo (March 26), Enrique Gil (March 30), and Maine Mendoza (March 3).

7. They also have keen eyesight.

This is according to a study of almost 3,000 military applicants which shows babies born in March are less myopic or short-sighted compared to babies born in the other months.

8. Studies also found babies born in March have a lower risk of having certain diseases.

According to a study conducted by Columbia University, babies born in March have a lower risk of having reproductive, cardiovascular and neurological diseases. The findings were based on the analysis of records of 1.75 million patients born between 1900 and 2000.

9. Babies born in March score high on the hyperthymia scale.

Babies born in March score high in the hyperthymia scale meaning they have a very optimistic personality. Downside is that they can also fall at the opposite of it by being too depressed. This is according to a massive British research conducted in 2012 on 58,000 subjects. The study also states that babies born in May are most likely to get depressed. While November babies are least likely to get depressed.

10. A study also shows that they stand taller than their peers too.

According to Gerhard Weber, an anthropologist at the University of Vienna, babies born in March are taller than their peers, while babies born in April are the tallest. This is based on the analysis of the height measurement records of more than 500,000 recruits of the Australian Federal Army. Weber speculated that this has something to do with the concentrations of light-dependent melatonin that women are exposed to during pregnancy. Because March falls in spring, there is more sunlight.
