Taken during baby Zia’s recent first birthday party, Ai-ai delas Alas shared a clip of her good friend Marian breastfeeding under a nursing cover while she entertains some guests.
Mabuhay ka kambal, and happy birthday sa king inaanak na maganda kagaya ko, ” wrote Ai-ai in the post, commending her kumare for purely breastfeeding Zia, who also happens to be her inaanak.
One instagram user wasn’t so impressed, writing against public breastfeeding. The netizen’s comment has since be deleted, but this didn’t stop Ai-ai’s followers to come to Marian’s defense.

Ai-ai also gave her two cents on the issue, emphasizing the usefulness of a nursing scarf that allows breastfeeding moms to nurse—anytime, anywhere.

Recently, Marian was awarded as a Breastfeeding Influencer and Advocate by the Mother and Child Nurses Association of the Philippines Inc. for her commitment to promoting breastfeeding awareness.
Dingdong also paid tribute to his wife for her devotion to breastfeeding in a recent Instagram photo, taken as Marian gave a speech at the aforementioned event.
“I am so proud of my wife for being able to fulfill her personal commitment of breastfeeding our baby till this very day,” wrote the proud hubby. “Your ‘support group’ will always be behind you to boost your drive, 100 percent! Maraming salamat sa iyo. Swabe ka, mahal ko.”
