Mariel Rodriguez and husband Robin Padilla will soon be welcoming their first daughter after six years of marriage. To celebrate, a baby shower was held at Discovery Primea hotel in Makati last Satuday, September 3.
Days before the baby shower, Mariel shared teasers by way of snaps of invitations and photos, joking that her husband would refer to her baby shower as her “debut”.
Using the hashtag #babyMozart, Mariel, Robin and their guests shared photos of the event on social media.
Robin even livestreamed the entire event live on his Facebook page.
The star-studded guest list included Mariel’s close friends and soon-to-be new moms Toni Gonzaga and Rufa Mae Quinto. Sarah Lahbati, Richard Gutierrez, and their son Zion also attended the party.

The mom-to-be shared how she was on the set of It’s Showtime when she was pregnant. “I told myself ‘paglilihian ko itong si Anne’,” wrote the mom alongside their photo, adding that she hopes her baby Isabella gets all of Anne’s greatest quality–even her singing voice.
