My Life Dealing With PCOS, Ovarian Cancer, and Conception

3 min read

Let's start this story with my favorite quote "progress is not linear."

Age 15 or 16 ata ako noong una kong narining na "mahihirapan kang magbuntis."

Marami akong "what if". Lahat ginawa namin para mag normalize ang menstruation ko, pinag pills ako (itinigil rin dahil tumataba ako), pinag diet, pinag-exercise, nag change ng lifestyle (from fast food to green and leafy foods) at marami pang iba.

Year 2019, may nakitang bukol sa ovary ko at pinaghihinalaang tumor or ovarian cancer.

It means that the signs and symptoms of my cancer are reduced. Remission can be partial or complete.

In a complete remission, all signs and symptoms of cancer have disappeared. If you remain in complete remission for 5 years or more, some doctors may say that you are cured.

After 2 years, nag conceived ako!

My Life Dealing With PCOS, Ovarian Cancer, and Conception
