Due to the insistence of her friends and followers to create a vlog or youtube channel, actress and mom-to-be Neri Naig has finally decided to create her own cooking show.
Though she thinks more people would like to hear about her life with husband, Parokya ni Edgar’s Chito Miranda, she believes her blog as well as her frequent social media updates are more than enough channels for her to share.
Instead, she prefers to share her passion for cooking and baking in the hopes that it will inspire more moms to tap into their love for preparing food for their families.
“Sana mas marami pa akong maeengganyong mga misis at mga hindi pa misis na magluto,” she wrote in the caption of her upcoming online show’s teaser clip. “Gusto ko rin ipakita na hindi nakakatakot o mahirap magluto. Basta andun ang passion mo at willing ka talagang matuto, madali na ang lahat.”
‘Sana mas marami pa akong maeengganyong mga misis at mga hindi pa misis na magluto…’
‘Super simple lang mga recipes na i-share ko para di nakakatakot sa mga baguhan sa kusina at mas ma-engganyo pa kayo…’
She does caution her followers, however, not to expect too much because she is in no way a professional chef.
“Super simple lang mga recipes na i-share ko para di nakakatakot sa mga baguhan sa kusina at mas ma-engganyo pa kayo,” she said, adding how excited she is to share what her first recipe will be. “Masaya magluto, pramis!”
She ended the post by thanking her husband Chito for always supporting her interests and passion projects.

She’s set to give birth soon and she’s making the most of her time by enhancing her skills in the kitchen!
“Nagbebake pa rin ako while waiting for Baby Alfonso na lumabas. Ang lagi kong ginagawa araw araw sa bahay, luto, bake, at linis,” the 30-year-old actress/entrepreneur wrote in one of her recent Instagram posts, adding that preparations are underway of their little one; this includes a house general cleaning, pest control, and converting one of their guest rooms into a pantry which will become like a “mini-grocery”, something Neri’s always dreamed about having at home.
“Mas madaling mag inventory kapag nasa isang lugar lang. And dream ko talaga magkapantry since mahilig naman akong magluto luto,” she wrote, adding that she thinks her being more “O.C” is all part of the ‘nesting’ process.
Aside from her thriving Gourmet Tuyo business, which has spawned many resellers across the country, Neri loves preparing simple meals in her very own home.
If we were to guess her first recipe, it would probably be something simple and something that will bring a smile to her husband’s face.
‘Wala lang. Proud lang ako sa asawa ko. Jackpot ako eh,’ gushed Chito in his post

“Ang sipag lang talaga ng asawa ko. Gusto nya daw kasi talaga mag-improve. Magaling naman sya mag-bake pero gusto nya daw matuto gumawa ng pandesal na parang mga binibenta sa mga bakery sa kanto,” wrote Chito in an Instagram post, adding that everything she bakes is delicious; he also joked about the time when his dad made fun of Neri’s bad baking skills.
“Wala lang. Proud lang ako sa asawa ko. Jackpot ako eh,” gushed Chito in his post.
In preparation for the launch of the first episode, Neri started a Neri’s Kitchen Instagram page and earned 10,000 followers in just three days. It just goes to show how many of Neri’s fans and followers are eagerly anticipating the show.
