After being away for six months in Paris for an internship, Pokwang’s daughter, Mae Subong, is now back in the Philippines.
The 21-year-old was welcomed warmly by the comedienne, who posted a video of their reunion on Instagram:

“Nabuhay akong mag-isa Ma”
During the mother and daughter’s tearful reunion, Pokwang can be seen excitedly hugging her daughter, calling her “baby girl” and telling her how much she missed her. She was so excited that she posted the following message days before her daughter’s arrival: “Ilang oras na lang mayayakap na kita anak! So proud of you at nakayanan mong mag-isa ng malayo sa amin.“
Pokwang’s daughter hugged the actress tightly as well and told her “Nabuhay akong mag-isa Ma.”
The 44-year-old comedienne is currently pregnant with her and partner Lee O’Brien’s child.
