After giving birth, your hormones gradually return to normal, and the dark spots will slowly fade, but this can take a few months.

Hormonal changes may cause your skin to lose moisture, making it dry and sometimes itchy. To help, use moisturizing products that restore your skin’s hydration and improve its health.
