Raymart Santiago dismisses Claudine Barretto's allegations that son was hurt by relative

"Away bata, pinapalaki," was Raymart's response to a fuming Claudine, accusing an unnamed relative of hurting her 10-year-old son, Santino

Raymart Santiago has broken his silence about Claudine Barretto’s accusation that one of his relatives hurt their 10-year-old son Santino.

On Instagram, the 37-year-old actress wrote, fuming, about the incident:”’Yang red as arm ng anak ko, saan nanggaling ‘yan kung pinagsabihan n’yo lang????” Barretto wrote in the caption. “Nagkamali kayo ng SINAKTAN!!! You hurt my son PHYSICALLY GOD FORGIVE ME SA ANONG GAGAWIN KO SA INYO!!!!”

She also shared a photo of her son with apparent redness on his right arm.

She also further stated that even if she knows they will turn the tables against her, she will not relent.

“I’m not going to hold back because before anything else I AM A MOTHER FIRST! Thank you for all your support, love and prayers,” she continued, adding that she hopes Raymart will come to their son’s defense. “In all the battles that I’ve gotten myself in, ako pa rin?!

She also vowed revenge on the unnamed relative who she claims hurt to her son.

“Di po sa school sinaktan si Saint. PAMILYA NYA PO GUMAWA SA KANYA. KAMAG ANAK,” she emphasized.

Raymart brushes off Claudine’s allegations as “Napakababaw”

“Napakababaw!” said Raymart in an exclusive interview with PEP. “Alam mo, masyado niyang pinapalaki.”

He also said he was aware of the said incident even though he was in Cebu to celebrate the birthday of his older brother.

10-year-old Santino was playing with a knife when his relatives simply grabbed his arm to keep others from getting hurt.

He also went on to express his surprise that Claudine blew the incident out of proportion.

“Away-bata!

As for the accusation of choking, Raymart said that it’s highly unlikely, but since he wasn’t there he can’t say for sure.

“Sinakal?

He also emphasized that neither Claudine nor their kids’ yaya was there.

“Ang sa akin lang, mag-usap-usap lang magpinsan. Magpinsan ‘yan, e.

Claudine plans to file charges next week, and Raymart maintains that this is unnecessary. He hopes the issue can be solved within the family, without the media’s involvement.

“Yang mga ganyan, it’s like family. Pamilya yun na nagkapikunan. Tapos pinigil, nagkapigilan.

He further emphasized that the issue can simply be resolved, especially if Claudine calms down and stops blowing the incident out of proportion.
