Actress turned blogger Paula Peralejo-Fernandez will soon be giving birth to her first child.
To celebrate, her sister Rica Peralejo threw her a fun and intimate baby shower.
“Since my husband and I are birders/birdwatchers, my sister thought of the perfect hashtag: #PabloHatchingSoon!” wrote the mom-to-be in her popular blog, where she documents her travels and other adventures.
On her instagram, Rica shared a photo of the two of them in similar outfits, gushing about how excited she was to welcome her nephew.

“Twinning forever,” wrote Rica. “I came first. Then she arrives and I think, ‘We always do this’. And I think, we always do this. We wore the same thing in different colors. My sister @mama_the_explorer is going to pop soon, but I hope not too soon so I can be here in time for Pablo’s hatching.”
Rica, who is also a popular name in the blogosphere, revealed that once Pablo is “hatched” they’ll begin a new hashtag #theadventuresofPhilipandPablo, featuring Pablo and his cousin, Rica’s son Philip.

The low-key but fun event was held at Mateo’s Restaurant and Cafe in Horseshoe Village, Quezon City last September 16.
Flora and Fern styled the intimate event, even using real eggs as fun edible decorations.

“In our wedding, we made sure the materials in our guest tables were all recyclable and could mostly be taken home by our guests,” wrote Paula on her Instagram. “Love that they followed this principle by putting something that goes with the theme but are also edible! Many of the eggs were cooked so my nephew and some guests actually ate them!’

“The guests at the shower loved everything about @mateosph. The whole feel of the place — quiet, intimate, real. Then of course, their food reminds you of lutong bahay however gourmet levels,” wrote Rica.

“I love small, intimate parties where we can just talk to everyone and basically have time for everyone. That’s how it was this afternoon, with the bonus of a beautifully-styled venue and great food!” wrote the expectant mom.
