Nearly six months breaking the news on social media that her husband of six years Timothy Tan was cheating on her, Sunshine is sharing some wisdom gained from her painful experience.
Since it was posted by GMA Network, the interview has garnered 1.8 million views and 10,300 shares on Facebook.
In the interview, she looks back to the time when she first had suspicions that there was another woman in her husband’s life: “Andun yung kukutuban ka. Tapos bigla ka na lang magugulat kasi makakakita ka ng text. Ebidensiya, yung mga ganung bagay…”
She also opened how she felt when her suspicions turned out to be true.
“Siyempre nandun na rin yung nagalit ako,” recalled Sunshine. “Pero higit sa galit, yung takot, yung pag-aalala…yung pangangamba lalo na kung meron kang anak.”
As for women who have found themselves in a similar situation, her advice is not to allow themselves to be swallowed up by negative emotions.
“Kung ano man ang nararamdaman niyong galit, lungkot, takot, huwag niyo hayaang lamunin kayo niyan. Pero isipin na lang natin ang mga anak natin. Mas kailangan natin maging matatag para sa kanila ngayon.
