Usually, when women think about the peak of their sex lives, they probably think that it’s in their twenties, when they’re still young, and some don’t have kids yet.
What’s the age that women have their best orgasms?
In a research commissioned by the app Natural Cycles, an app that helps with contraception, 2600 women were asked about their experience with orgasms, feelings of attractiveness, and how much they enjoyed having sex.
They were sorted into 3 age groups, younger (23 below), middle (23-35), and older (36 above).
The researchers found out that when it came down to being comfortable with themselves and their sexuality, women aged 36 and older were the ones who felt most comfortable in their own skin.
Additionally, the women in the older age group (36 and above) had the highest scores when it came to climaxing, as 6 out of 10 reported that they had better and more frequent orgasms.
This means that based on the research, women reach their ‘sexual peak’ when they’re 36.
The ‘best’ orgasm is based on numerous factors
However, this doesn’t mean that when a woman turns 36, they automatically find sex more pleasurable. However, being more comfortable in your own skin, knowing what you want during sex, and being confident about your sexuality does help to make sex a more pleasurable activity.
Great sex isn’t purely physical, it all comes down to your mindset, as well as a high level of intimacy between you and your husband. All of these factors combined can make for a great sex life.
