Who’s the new Backstreet Baby?
Nick Carter is going to be a Daddy.
The 35-year-old blonde member of the Backstreet Boys and current contestant of US reality show Dancing with the Stars just found out that he and wife Lauren Kitt, 32, are expecting a baby boy.
This bit of awesome news came just after Nick received a perfect score on his Tango performance during that week’s episode, effectively letting him stay another week in the competition.
Lauren had a previous miscarriage
The couple had previously lost a child to a miscarriage, and said that conceiving again was quite difficult.
After performing a Tango routine on the dancing show, Nick was clearly emotional when asked about how he felt, saying, “I just want to do a really good job for her (Lauren).”
According to Lauren, the loss of their baby really hit Nick hard. In an interview with People, she said, “It was really hard on Nick. Just watching him get so excited about something, and see him get so hurt, it was hard.”

In a wonderful surprise prepared for them after the performances, Nick and Lauren opened a large gift box to find out that they were going to have a boy!
The two shared a kiss upon seeing blue balloons fly out of the box.
Lauren is 16 weeks pregnant.

Lots of new Backstreet Boys and Girls
The rest of the Backstreet Boys all have their own families. A.J. McLean, 37, has a 2-year-old daughter. Kevin Richardson, 44, has two sons aged eight and two while cousin Brian Littrel, 41, has one son. Howie Dorough, now 42, has two boys with ages six and two.
