During her funeral service in a church in Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur, a 3-year-old toddler shocked family and friends after waking up in her own coffin.
After having suffered from a high fever for several days, the toddler was brought to a clinic last July 11 where the attending clinic personnel and physician proclaimed her dead the next day. The family then brought the child home and prepared for her funeral service on Sunday.
According to witnesses, one of the funeral’s attendees thought that he had seen the child’s head move which prompted the adults to check if the girl was alive. Upon doing so, they realized that the girl indeed had a pulse and was alive. In a video that has quickly gone viral, you will see the child’s father picking her up out of the coffin, before rushing off to a nearby clinic for a check-up.
The child was then brought home where she remained in a comatose state before, again, being declared dead. The family is currently planning a second funeral.
