She later wrote briefly about the painful experience of witnessing him pass away.
“We all tried to stay strong and whispered in his ear, ‘You can go now. We will be okay. We love love [sic],'” she wrote.
“All of his organs failed, but his heart wouldn’t stop beating. For 30 minutes…his heart just kept beating. No one had ever seen anything like it.”
His other daughter Laila thanked her father’s fans for showing their love and support by sharing with them a heartwarming photo of her father and her adorable daughter, Sydney.
Muhammad Ali passed away in a Phoenix, Arizona hospital after a 32-year battle with Parkinson’s disease, a progressive neurological condition which inhibited some of his physical and verbal abilities.
He is survived by his wife, Lonnie, and nine children: Laila, Rasheda, Hana Ali, Asaad, Maryum, Jamillah, Khaliah, Miya and Muhammad Ali Jr.
Though he was battling a chronic illness for 32 years, the three-time world champion and Olympic Gold medalist has remained to be a lasting symbol of superhuman strength and courage, inspiring athletes and fans the world over.
A funeral service will be held in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
