13 Forgotten baby names from 100 years ago

These baby names that time forgot are making a comeback! Let these old-fashioned baby names inspire you modern parents!

We here at TheAsianParent are always open to learning about and sharing possibilities for baby names. After all, combing through the innumerable options of names in an attempt to find the perfect one for your baby-to-be is undoubtedly one of the harder aspects of baby preparation.

Personally, I’ve covered a number of stories that featured a wide range of baby names for both boys and girls. On these lists, there’s always a handful of choices that are so gorgeous, I can comfortably say that someone somewhere used one. That’s why when I came across a new list (as shared by The Huffington Post) that features 13 names that time forgot, I figured I owed it to our readership to share them.

These amazing names for boys–and some for girls–have been overlooked for the past century or so. Frankly, there’s really no reason why…just a result of shift in baby names, I suppose.

Just because time has overlooked these names for the past ten decades doesn’t mean there aren’t at least a few worth consideration for your soon to be son or daughter.

Take a look at the list and let us know what you think of these old-timey names and their meanings and let us know if you think they’re viable options for your future offspring!
