His adorable son with his former partner Jennylyn Mercado is now 15 this year. Jennylyn Mercado gave birth to Alex Jazz Mercado at St. Luke’s Hospital in Quezon City on August 16, 2008.
Mercado and Garcia split up in 2008, while Jennylyn is pregnant with Jazz, but have remained friends ever since. Even with a past rift, the two have shared countless great moments with Jazz and Garcia’s family.

Though Alex Jazz lives with his mom, there’s no shortage of bonding experiences between him and his dad. In fact, Patrick’s wife Nikka always reaches out to Jennylyn.
The two frequently share photos of Jazz with his half-sisters – Michelle Celeste, Nicola Patrice, and Francisca Pia. Recently, Patrick and Nikka welcomed their fourth child, who is finally a boy, Enrique Pablo.

Alex Jazz, although he has separated parents, has always been loved by Patrick and Jennylyn, with their own families showering him with love and affection too.
Patrick is now happily married to Nikka Garcia for 8 years. They have 4 children – 3 girls and a boy.
Nikka has always been supportive of Jazz, even promising Jennylyn that she will be a good tita to Jazz. And yes, she is!
Jennylyn on the other hand just tied the knot with long-time boyfriend Dennis Trillo, who also has a son, Calix, from former girlfriend Carlene Aguilar. Now, Jennylyn and Dennis Trillo has a daughter named Dylan Jade who just celebrated her first birthday last April 25, 2023.

Jennylyn’s love for Alex Jazz
Jennylyn Mercado son condition: After realizing that her kid had a speech delay at the age of one year and three months, and knowing that therapy and special schools were exceedingly expensive, her first objective was to ensure her son’s early educational future.
While Jennylyn can be very busy with work, she makes sure that Jazz gets well taken care of by her helpers. Her week could be bombarded with tapings, shoots, and rehearsals but she also never fails to spend quality time with his son.

They would often spend quality time together at the mall where Jazz can run around as he likes. Jennylyn is also a disciplinarian, who would spank Jazz’s hands if he gets too naughty. But she would always make sure to communicate to Jazz why she did it and what Jazz did wrong.

In 2008, while Jennylyn was pregnant with Jazz, Patrick and Jennylyn had a contentious breakup. Over time, they were able to patch things up and have since become one of the celebrity co-parent models out there.
