In an Instagram post, Gene shared the sweet details of the proposal. It happened at a beautiful resort, and Jose serenaded her with “Ikaw” by Yeng Constantino. Picture this: Jose, holding a guitar and accompanied by a saxophonist, singing his heart out to his soon-to-be wife.
Then, as if that wasn’t enough, they moved to a pool area that was decorated with romantic flowers and hearts. Imagine the scene – a neon sign lit up with the words “Will you marry me?” Gene couldn’t believe her eyes and asked, “Ano ‘yan? Totoo ba ‘yan?”—touched and clearly in shock.

But wait, there’s more! Jose knelt down on one knee and popped the big question: “Will you marry me?” Of course, Gene said YES! without a second thought! 💍 They sealed it with a kiss and a tight hug, making the moment extra special.

For those who don’t know, Jose was previously married to Anna Lyn Santos, who sadly passed away in 2022. He and Anna Lyn have four wonderful children: Benj, Myki, Ai, and Nicco.
