Kai Gutierrez turns one
The second child of actors Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati celebrated his first birthday with a simple and intimate party on his natal day, March 21.
Sarah wrote heart-warming post on her Instagram yesterday: “It seems like just yesterday, you were in my tummy… I would sing to you songs that would now be your favorites… I had doubts if I could do it all over again… being ‘a new mom’ again seemed daunting.”
Richard and Sarah have an older son, Zion, who was born in Switzerland in 2013.

“You made your presence known when we would talk and sing to you while you were still in my tummy. You always responded to Mama, Dada, and Zion.”
She added, “From that moment, in those early days before you were born, I already knew how much I loved you. From that moment, I knew I wasn’t scared. That I had to protect you no matter what. That I had to do my best for you. That we all had so much love and care to give you.”
She described her secondborn as “resilient,” “happy,” and “joyful.”

Meanwhile, Daddy Richard also posted a few photos of him and Kai on his own Instagram account.

Sarah intimated that Zion has been wanting to have a sibling for so long, so getting pregnant with Kai was “perfect timing.”
She added in her post: “I love that we are now a ‘family of four.'”
