Bago matapos ang taon, masayang inanunsyo ng isa sa tanyag at hinahangaan na mang-aawit ngayon na si Asia’s Phoenix Morissette Amon na siya ay engaged sa musikerong si Dave Lamar.

Sa Instagram post ng singer, ibinahagi nito ang mga litrato kasama ang nobyo habang may suot na singsing.
“More than just an 11:11 wish, you’re an answered prayer. I love you @davejlamar, always have and always will.” Panimula ni Mori.
Ayon kay Morissette, ilang buwan na ang nakakalipas nang niyaya siyang magpakasal ng nobyo. Mas pinili niyang sabihin muna ito sa malalapit na kaibigan at pamilya. Ngunit sa pagkakataong ito, handa na siyang ibahagi ang good news na siya ay engaged na!
“After finally letting our families and most of our closest friends know in the past couple of months since this happened, we’re finally ready to share it to the world. WE’RE ENGAGED!”

Morisette Amon and Dave Lamar’s love story
Binalikan ni Morissette ang kanilang unang pagkikita ni Dave siyam na taon na ang nakakalipas. Nagsimula sa pagiging matalik na kaibigan ng pitong taon hanggang sa maging magkasintahan.
“Nine years since we’ve met, bestfriends for seven, our second round at love, each other’s firsts. And now, last and only.”
Dagdag pa nito, “Thank You Lord for all that you’re blessing us with, keeping us strong and allowing us to live our dreams together. Our love story is great because you orchestrated it. And we’re so excited for this next chapter of our lives. Also, what an absolutely breathtaking sunset you shared with us when DJ decided to surprise me and propose!”
Hindi raw naging madali ang kanilang road to forever ngunit para sa kanila ay tinadhana ito ng Diyos.
Ani Mori sa kaniyang mensahe kay Dave:

Masasabi nating, musika ang nagkonekta sa dalawa. Matatandaang ang 24-year-old na si Mori at nobyo nitong si Dave ay kapwa ex-contestant ng singing competition na The Voice Philippines.

Dahil parehong mang-aawit, marami na rin silang naging song covers. Ilan na lamang dito ang “Someone You Loved, “Skyscraper” at “Fallin’ All In You”.
Hindi nakalimutang magpasalamat ni Mori sa nobyo dahil sa pagmamahal na ibinigay nito simula pa noong una.
“You didn’t just fight for me, but also believed in all that I can do, even when I didn’t. I am looking forward to everything we will learn and accomplish together, I mean we’ve already been at it and this is only the beginning.. as you used to say “endless possibilities!”

Dagdag pa niya na, “..and as your song goes, this ain’t “Something Only We Know” anymore hehehe.. It’s definitely a Y E S to a forever with you!”
Dave’s “new journey” with Morisette
Labis naman ang kasiyahan din ng 30-year-old na si Dave sa kanilang engagement. Sa kaniyang Instagram account, ibinahagi nito ang isang video kung saan masayang magkasama ang dalawa matapos ang “engagement” noong nakaraang buwan.

Ayon sa kaniya, matagal nang may paghanga siya kay Mori, “sincere admiration” kung tawagin niya. Hindi siya umano makapaniwala na na nagkakilala silang dalawa.
“Honestly, It still blows my mind how much God guided our path toward each other and the things,” ani Dave. “He did to get us to where we are today. And now this. Thank you for saying yes to a lifetime of adventures with me. I adore you with all my heart and I am so blessed and excited that I get to experience the rest of this life with you by my side.”
Dagdag pa niya, “I know everyone says this, but you have truly been my best friend and my rock, and I am so so excited that I will get to marry my best friend. Morissette, Thank you for being mine! Gihigugma tika.”
Sa ngayon, wala pang ibang ibinigay na detalye ang dalawa tungkol sa kanilang nalalapit na kasal.
