Mom's frequent headaches due to worms in her brain from eating contaminated meat

Learn about her story and surgery here.

Do you get really bad headaches?

During the surgery, a piece of her skull was removed and eight sacs of tapeworm eggs were found lodged in her brain.

It was a good thing, too, that she sought medical attention when she did since headaches due to worms in the brain are rare and dangerous. Who knows what could have happened if she had put it off?

Inside Edition featured her story with snippets of the actual surgery. Watch it here.
