If you have doubts regarding the safety of getting these flu vaccinations, it is best to discuss them with your gynecologist. Pregnant women are at a very high risk of developing influenza and other seasonal infections. It is usually safe to get flu shots when you are pregnant. In fact, if you have a risk of developing pregnancy complications, your doctor will urge you to get a shot so that the pregnancy progresses normally.

At any point in your pregnancy, it is completely safe to get a flu shot. Still if you feel that you may need some help in taking this decision, talk to your doctor and discuss your apprehension so that your doubts can be put to rest.
