Saab Magalona and her husband lose their baby girl

Saab Magalona had shared on her blog post that they had just lost one of their twins, their baby girl, while their son is still in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Actress, singer and mom Saab Magalona has just experienced one of the most heartbreaking moments of her life.

In a blog post she shared that they had lost one of their twins, their daughter.

Saab Magalona: “I think I’ve been in denial”

The actress started her blog post by saying “This might be the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write.”

She goes on, “I’ve stayed silent because I think I’ve been in denial. I thought keeping it to ourselves would make this whole thing unreal.

“This last month, I was in and out of the ICU and I almost didn’t make it.”

She shared that they had just lost their baby girl, and that their baby boy is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and was in critical condition.

“I know we’ll make it through”

Saab said that her husband, Jim, told her  that “hindi pang tao yung pinagdaanan natin.”

She added that regardless of the things that they have just gone through, they’re still hopeful that everything will work out.

“That’s why we can only thank God for helping us get through the pain and lifting the anger from our hearts.

“We thank you for your concern and we ask that you continue to pray for our family, especially for our angel and for our baby boy,” she shares

The day of her blog post also marked the death anniversary of her father, Francis Magalona; with Saab writing that she knows her dad will be looking after his apo.

Saab adds, “This whole time, we’ve been nervous about bringing children into this scary world and in an instant, our world was turned upside down.

“Despite this tragedy, we have encountered so many heroes and kind people.

“If you look hard enough, this doesn’t have to be such a scary world after all.

“I know we’ll make it through.”
