TV host and actress Toni Gonzaga is expecting a mini version of hubby director Paul Soriano!
Paul shared the news on June 30 when he made an appearance in Tonight with Boy Abunda.
“It’s a boy. We’re having a mini Paul,” he said excitedly.
For Toni, having a baby boy is a wish come true. Since she opened up about her pregnancy, Toni has always been vocal about her wish to have a son.

In previous statements, Toni admitted that a boy would be nice since she has only one sibling, fellow actress Alex Gonzaga.
“Well, noong bata ako, pangarap ko noon na magkaroon ng kapatid na lalaki, kasi wala kaming lalaki (When I was a kid, I dreamed of having a baby brother because we don’t have a boy),” Gonzaga said in a previous interview.
“Si Paul naman, gusto ng babae, kasi limang lalaki sila. Kami naman, dalawang babae. (Paul wants a girl, because they [siblings] are all boys. We [siblings], on the other hand, are girls),” she also said.
But, according to Paul, he is happy with a boy.
“It’s her wish. I just wanted, girl or boy, [to be] healthy and strong,” Paul said.

Baby names
Now that they know what their baby’s gender is, the couple is busy thinking of names for their little one.
“We’re working on it. We’re debating now on names,” Paul shared.
“Of course, I’m going for Paul. We’re going for that,” he added.
Toni, who joined the interview, however, said that nothing is final.
“Meron, pero di ko pa masabi talaga na final kasi it still changes everyday,” she said.
“Basta it’s a boy,” she finalized.
“Basta it’s a boy. We’re having a mini-Paul,” Paul echoed.
