We all go through rough patches. It doesn’t matter the kind of relationship (platonic, romantic, familial), we go through them all the same. And yet knowing that fact doesn’t not soften the blow of this particular bad news: Braneglina’s relationship is on the rocks.
For years, theirs is the kind of family we look up to, the kind of loving relationship we all want for ourselves. Theirs is so aspirational that even if we know them only from our television and computer screens, we still want them to live happily ever after.
Unfortunately fairy tale endings are not real life
“We have fights and problems like any other couple,” Angelina told reporters last year in November. “We have days when we drive each other absolutely mad and want space.”
Like most A-list celebrities, both Angelina and Brad are rarely home together to spend time with their family. And time spent apart causes tension in any relationship.
Now it seems like their tight schedule is taking its toll. Reports from different sources have been hinting that the couple has been on the brink of divorce for over a year now, and have been living separate lives.
Not giving up yet
The good news is that they’re not giving up—at least not yet. The couple has seven children, and they both know that their welfare is top priority.
That is why this coming spring, the Brangelina household will move to London in the spring to, hoping that their time spent together will render them to become a more solid family unit.
For their sake and ours, we hope that they live long, healthy lives together. Because if Brangelina of all couples could not save their marriage, then what chance do mere mortals like us have?
