Gab Valenciano and Tricia Centenera have reportedly split after a year of marriage

Gab Valenciano and Tricia Centenera have reportedly split after a year of marriage

Based on their recent updates on social media and information from a close friend, the couple have apparently called it quits after a year of marriage. More details, here.

It’s been a week since rumors started circulating that entertainer Gab Valenciano and wife blogger Tricia Centenera have called it quits after just a year of marriage. According to a PEP report, the reasons behind the split were infidelity and money issues.

The two tied the knot in a civil ceremony back in October 2014 in the States. Five months later, they got married in Tagaytay and again, in Boracay four days later.

Though there has not been a direct confirmation from the couple, their recent social media updates seem to be hinting that things aren’t going well for the couple.

On August 30 and 31, Gab posted a series of cryptic tweets.

Tricia also tweeted some suggestive posts on her own twitter account, hinting at possible infidelity, writing: “ Rebuilding. Because I don’t tolerate cheaters.”

According to PEP, a source close to the couple claims that infidelity on the part of Gab was the real reason behind the split and that Gab’s the one who wants to file for divorce.

“Gab is pushing for a divorce,” said the source. “Tricia is crushed and now all the cheating has surfaced.”

The source added that Tricia asked Gab to move out one month ago “due to emotional abuse and lack of working on the marriage”.

Aside from the alleged cheating, the same source told PEP that Gab has an ongoing case in the U.S. which pushed them to move back to the Philippines. And that he was deep in debt, owing Tricia’s family a huge amount of money.

Despite this, Tricia has maintained a close relationship with Gab’s sister Kiara and sister-in-law Sam.

As for Gab’s mom Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano, PEP reports that she believes her son was not at fault in this situation.

Tricia’s mom, who’s based abroad, is also currently in Manila to offer support to her daughter.

In response, Tricia told PEP she had “no comment”. While Gab said, “I’d rather deal with this privately with due respect to Tricia.”

Let’s hope they can still work things out.
