77-year-old Vicente Pasco proved his devotion to his wife after the heroic lolo saved his sick wife, Aida, from a fire that razed their home in Pagadian City. Sadly, he later died from burns he received during the blaze.

Senior Insp. Edgar Quitoy, the local fire marshal, said that the couple were pronounced critical after they were taken to the hospital.
Aida remains under medication, but sadly, Vicente succumbed to the burns that he received and died while he was being treated.
Investigators also say that the couple were the only ones at home when the fire started.
The fire broke out and spread to two other nearby homes.
Vicente’s neighbors said that they heard him screaming as he was trying to push his wife out of the house.
The neighbors immediately responded, helped the couple out, and took them to the hospital.
