World, say hello to Isla!
The 7-month-old who won Gerber’s annual Gerber Baby photo contest hails from Troy, Michigan. In her winning photo, we see little Isla flashing a confident smile while resting her face on her pinch-worthy hand. The entry bested 170,000 photos of babies and toddlers sent in by hopeful parents.

The bedimpled cutie enjoys playing peek-a-boo, jumping, reading and dancing to music, and blowing raspberries, her parents told CNN.
The identities of the panel of judges are not known but we do know is that their criteria for judging were “Gerber-like features such as happiness and expressiveness”.
Isla’s prize? A cool $50,000 which, according to her parents, will go to their savings for Isla’s future as well as charitable causes. The prize money will also help them pay off debts.
Photos of Isla will be shared via Gerber’s various social media sites throughout the year and she will also have the option of appearing in ads. But her parents told CNN that they are not certain whether they will allow Isla to fully enter modeling.
The annual online photo contest began six years ago with the goal of finding one baby yearly to represent the brand.
However, the original Gerber baby Ann Turner Cook will remain the face of the brand. Her sketched portrait has been on the company’s logo for eight decades.
