The body of a five-year-old girl was found stuffed inside a sack and buried underneath the trash in Negros Occidental.

According to the child’s relatives, they last saw the girl playing inside a hut in Barangay Malingin, Bago City at around 3pm on Monday, January 22.
As it grew darker, her relatives became worried about her whereabouts and started looking for the missing child. Sadly, they were unable to find her.
Come Tuesday morning, the relatives resumed their search, and noticed that someone had dug a hole underneath a trash can. They searched the hole and discovered the child’s lifeless remains stuffed inside a sack.
A 50-year-old man was responsible for the girl’s death
According to residents of the area, they had spotted a 50-year-old man carrying a sack shortly after the girl went missing.
This led to police officers arresting the man as the primary suspect in the crime.
The residents added that the man was responsible for a string of thefts involving women’s underwear in their area.
Police also found blood in the little girl’s underwear, which means that she could have also been raped by the suspect.
However, the suspect maintains that he is innocent.
